Current music:nothing... because my ipod hates me

so i've had my ipod for exactly ONE WEEK AND ONE DAY and i get the infamous "sad ipod" icon. WHAT THE FUCK?
i've tried the bullshit on apple's site to repair it, and it doesn't fucking work, so i have to either send it to them or go to the apple store in grand rapids...
anyone wanna take me to grand rapids?

what ipod version do you have? also try to reconnect to your computer, reboot it, it should be fine... if that doesnt work returning it to the store would prolly be the best bet.

tried that already. it just hates me.
